Yes, it is I.\u00a0 The one who took all the Funs for the day.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oh the guilt.<\/p>\n

Well, it’s all about the muse, as usual.<\/strong>\u00a0 Because this summer I indulged, and I went back to the world of veterinarian Dale Kinsall and his Sully Beagle.<\/p>\n

I always have to say this: I started this series before I had ConneryBeagle, and certainly before I had TWO Beagles.\u00a0<\/strong> It went through more publisher foolery than I even want to think about, and finally found a home at Five Star and WorldWide Mystery (and now with FoxAcre Press).\u00a0 By that time, my ponderings of “should I get a Beagle?” had come to fruition.<\/p>\n

But Sully isn’t Connery, and he isn’t Dart–<\/strong>no matter how many times I pose them for cover shots.\u00a0 He is simply BEAGLE.<\/p>\n

Anyway, Nose for Trouble just came out, and Scent of Danger will be available again<\/strong> before the end of the year.\u00a0 And in the meantime, suddenly…novella!<\/p>\n

\"\"Tracking Murder<\/a><\/strong><\/em> is an interim piece–<\/strong>one that fits nicely between Books 2 (Scent of Danger) and 3 (um, not yet written).\u00a0 But in the meantime, it stands deliciously on its own–so if you’re looking for an introduction to the series, it does that, too.<\/p>\n

It’s tracking!<\/strong> It’s tracking in a spot I love!<\/p>\n

It’s Dart Beagle on the cover!\u00a0<\/strong> It’s the actual location on the cover!<\/p>\n

It makes me want more, more, MORE! of Dale & Sully!<\/strong><\/p>\n

I can see that exclamation points will be in short supply after this blog.<\/p>\n

So yes.\u00a0 I have taken ALL the funs for the day.\u00a0<\/strong> But I’m not totally<\/em> selfish.\u00a0 Because the whole point of writing fiction is to share it.\u00a0 At least, that’s the point for me.\u00a0 The more sharing, the more funs.<\/p>\n
