Sorry to miss getting something more substantial posted this week! Was gone to California camping and visiting Kid #2. (No horses!)

So here is something else not horse related.

About BlogPatty

Here's the skinny: I have a thing for horses. They make sense to me. I have a small horse training business (it's a "boutique" training business, not because it's super fancy, but because the horses get a lot of personal attention). I also go by Dr. Wilber, and teach biology full-time at a Central New Mexico Community college.

Well… *I* like bacon! And so does the Houndly Trio! Hey, three Hounds can’t be wrong, can they?

My daughter got chocolate covered bacon roses from her honey last Valentine’s Day and now I just crack up whenever I see these bacon jokes.

      • Marilyn says:

Chocolate. Covered. Bacon. Roses. Right. Sounds delicious. At least, if they used a good 99% cocoa chocolate. Milk chocolate just wouldn’t contrast the great salty bacon taste. I happen to like bacon-stuffed Medjool dates. Well, bacon-and-cheese stuffed. I mean… with those ingredients, how bad could it be?

        • Patty says:

I think if they just dipped those dates in chocolate…!!!

          • Marilyn says:

OK, cheese and bacon stuffed dates, dipped in dark chocolate!

I have read this little exchange three times (not in a row either) and I have laughed out loud every time! That’s fun!
