You may have noticed that things look different around here. Not vastly different, but if you head to make a comment, you’ll see what I mean.
New! Cool! Exciting features! You can respond to someone specific in a thread! Share the page super-easily! Get replies in email super-easily! (Yes, I have a surplus of exclamation points on my hands today.)
You might also notice that all the previous comments are missing. No fears! They’re all still here, behind the scenes; they’re just not currently showing. Or they weren’t when I wrote this. I did put a process into motion that’s supposed to make them show up.
We Shall See.
Meanwhile, here’s a little something for your Saturday while I’m off running agility with Dart, and Connery is wishing he was running, too. A couple of the reasons the boys are rarely inside while I’m writing…
What on earth do they think is under the carpet? (And that must be tough carpet!) But yeah, both the face and the digging would be distracting. Very, very distracting. BeagleBoys need to do their cute face thing and their burrowing outside.
Oh, Connery doesn’t think there’s anything under the carpet. That’s how he makes his bed–not just any old desultory scratch or two for him! Very silly boy.
Looks like a Beagle Inspection, all right! Only hound more likely to one-up a Beagle on that is a Dachshund. One Beagle and two Dachshunds in the office get very entertaining, for some values of entertainment. But oh, that face! “Are you done yet, MyMom? Are you done yet?” Pause (or is that Paws), two, three, four… “Are you done yet? Notice the Beagle. The Beagle is the important one around here.”
Bwah ha ha! “Are you done yet? Notice the Beagle. The Beagle is the important one around here.” That’s the truth!
The face is why I’m not certain I could be a Beagle mom. Jake the Lab’s “pay attention to me” face was hard enough to deal with!
As for Connery’s digging, at least he’s not a Great Dane. They shake your whole house when they do it. 😛
I can imagine! Connery is quite vigorous enough….
And the old comments have been imported! Hooray! They’re so important to me–I knew I still had them here behind the scenes, but the conversation is what this place is all about, so yay! They’re in front of the scenes, too! (I have not yet figured out what a “reaction” is, though…)
Yay on the comments! And why can’t I just enter this comment and and just hit enter?
It wants me to sign in.
Cat on the lap poses a similar problem with working on the computer!
I need to experiment in a different browser, where I’m not signed into the blog already… I’d also like to see the newer comments add on to the bottom, but haven’t figured that out yet.
